I have this weird internet connection problem where it randomly disconnects for 1 to 10 seconds every 30-50 minutes and then connects back itself. The connection icon does not get the yellow triangle icon or no connection icon but while watching livestreams the video and chat stops and then video comes back and all the messages that were typed during the disconnection pop instantly, when in discord with friends i can hear them crystal clear but they can't hear me during the disconnection. While gaming in runescape everything just stops and if in combat all the hits occur at the same time when it connects back, in league of legends I get "Attempting to reconnect" notice and everything stops for the duration and in cod and bf1 I get rubberbanding and everything stops. I had this problem first in 2016 July and it vanished by itself last June and came back in September. I have been in contact with my isp from July 2016 and when the problem vanished I e-mailed them that the problem is gone and they told me they haven't done any changes and when the problem came back I once again e-mailed about it and they did not do any changes during the problem free time. I use ethernet cable connection.

How long have you had the router?

I see two possible causes of the problem here, a bad router or bad uplink (via cable routing) to your ISP's servers, specifically the DHCP servers - this could be due to high load or other things.

In any case in order to solve this issue you are going to have to open a good healthy dialogue with your ISP, if you're lucky they might send an engineer out or will review the situation, I would ask for a new router, they usually provide these for free but it may be different depending on the ISP.
