First build, is this build good enough?

This is a "non-budget build", but the sweet spot is about $1350. This is a build focused on 1080p 144Hz gaming, and the ideia is doesn't have to change any part for like 5 years or so (if possible, excluded storage). I don't care about RGB, this is the best build I could figure out.

Should I change anything or it's good to go? My question resides on the psu, because I really know nothing about it, japanese capacitors and stuff. If there's any better psu for this price please let me know, thanks in advice!

Probably Ryzen is a better option. My take.

The 1080ti needs about 600~650w. If your going to overclock the 1600 to near max you should upgrade to a 650w power supply. Tho looking you only have the stock cooler which hits about 3.7Ghz so should be fine.

The build with the 1700 isn't as good. The 1700 is overpriced a bit due to Intels new i5 8600k 6 core.

If you already have a case ignore this but this one is great. Its a USB 3.0 case as Newegg just hasn't relist. Click on the link to see it states USB 3.0.

What about this psu instead? I was a bit afraid of Corsair psus because of some things I read but hey, maybe they're good as Seasonic. I'm really considering the HAF 912, but does it have dust filter and room for a single (or dual) water cooler that I may put there in the future?

In gaming the new gen. Intel will outperform the Ryzen pretty convincingly. Good quality PSU included...

For a build to last 5 years, it's better to overprovision a bit. So choose an i7. Also included a nvme ssd :

Solution

For EVGA go with the G2 or G3 models. The HAF 912 supports a radiator with 2 X 120mm fans. Here is an image with filters and such it supports.
