Need help picking a motherboard i7-5775C & a GTX 980

Im working on a build and I need a motherboard that doesnt have one of those extremely fancy bios's, you know, the ones with the flashy colors and that stuff.
 
Solution
The Core i7-5775C will work on most 9-series motherboards with BIOS support. Just be advised, that’s not exactly straightforward. To get a Core i7-5775C up and running you just have to update the BIOS. You may need something like Asus USB BIOS Flashback that only require:
System requirements:
◾Power supply
◾USB storage formatted to FAT16, FAT32 or NTFS
◾ASUS motherboard featuring USB BIOS Flashback

or you may need a different CPU that works with an early BIOS version number.

There are slim pickins when it comes to Intel 9 series Chipset motherboards as most all models are no longer produced. You may find some models on eBay.

A UI based around Gigabyte’s old style of BIOS is present on the Z97X-Gaming 7 motherboard. Users with experience in the old interface may welcome the BIOS-style layout. (see page 4 of link)
