Okay so im trying to build a gaming pc for the first time. Im having trouble deciding if a overcloked 1050ti will preform around or even close to a 1060 6gb. Im not wanting to spend too much on this build as im buying an already built pc but upgrading it. So thats saving me some money. I dont want to cheap out on the graphics card but if I can save some money that would be great. Im upgrading the motherboard and the cpu to these. Thanks in advance.
Motherboard - msi b350 tomahawk atx am4
CPU- ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz 6 cores

1060 6GB is A LOT faster, literally not even close. If you're replacing the Mobo, CPU, i presume RAM, and GPU, then why are you even upgrading instead of just building a new pc? That's pretty much the whole computer.

I would suggest the 1060 so long as the pricing isn't much higher than MSRP. Many of the mid-tier cards are being purchased by cryto-miners so prices of 1060s and 1070s might be affected. If the 1060 is a good bit higher than MSRP, it may be worth it to wait a while.
