After half a year, I finally have all the parts for my computer build, save two: The GPU! And monitor, but that's kindof, meh.
I'm freaking pumped to get building, but there's just one last thing before I shoot my rifle and finalize the last purchase.
I wanted to do a Ryzen 7 Build with the 1080GTX from the get-go, but it was always in the back of my mind how AMD performs better with AMD. Now, I already know that the GTX 1080 is the better option (besides the top tier GPU cards that's out of my budget..) for VR, games, hands down, by itself. However, would some AMD GPU product possibly get better results when considering overall frame rates for Virtual Reality and fraps? The only other GPU I can think of even coming to a margin close would be the water cooler VEGA 64, but as its price has gone up extensively, and since the VEGA 56 is exactly the same price as the 1080 GTX, I just wanted to be extra sure.
