Hi!
So on my friends desktop PC - windows 10 machine, 1tb Seagate HD, had C and D partitions
I plugged in another hard drive and accidentally assigned it also the letter D. After I plugged out the hard drive I left only with C partition.

Is there any way to get D back ? It seems like its nowhere. I believe I was not deleted its just not there. Tried several ways to find it but it seems that the hard drive is only 220 gb now (see photos)
Please help, we had really important stuff there.

p.s Sorry for my English, not a native :)

I'm just saying...from your Disk Management screencap, that looks like a single 250GB drive.
And Disk Management generally does not lie. If there were extra space, it would show.

The best I can see, the drive only has one main data partition and the drive is only a 250GB drive. The small partition at the front is a system partition that doesn't get a drive letter.

If you think it should be something else, you may want to first power the system off and verify that it truly does have a 1TB hard drive and also check to see if there possibly is another physical drive in the system that is suddenly not being detected.

Specific part number of this drive?
How old is it, and where did you buy it from?

I've seen old small drives relabeled as 1-2-3TB drives and sold on fleabay.

It is not more then six months old.
It from a respectable store. I don't have the part # I can check it in a few days...
