my pc detected 2 cores instead of 4

Go into task manager > Performance > open resource monitor (at bottom) > With the graphs on the right, how many are active? Does it say 'parked' next to any of them?

Can you please go into 'power settings' in the control panel. From here please select 'high performance'.
