hello, as the title says I'm building my first pc after years of playing games on console
it has to be said that I'm really new to this so I want your help regarding a system I built.id love your feedback on it
so here are the specs:
cpu - Intel - I5 8600K
motherboard - MSI - Z370-A-PRO
Ram - Lenovo - 01AG805x2-PC (2x8 dd4)
GPU - GALAX - 70NSH6DHL4XE-PC ( Galax GTX 1070 EX 8gb)
Storage - Seagate - ST1000DM003 -1TB
Storage 2 - Western Digital - WDS120G1G0A - 120 SSD
Case - Antec - GX500-700
Power Supply - Antec - VP400PC
OS - win 10 home OEM

three things that concern me most are :
1- cooling: I'm getting a boxed cpu so i it would come with its own cooler so i don't know if i should get a separate one. and id like a recommendation on a cooler for the case
2- is the power supply listed above going to suffice?
3- budget: how can i make this build more affordable? where can i (if possible) use a cheaper item without affecting performance much

1 - the K CPUs by Intel don't come with a cooler since 1.5 years or so.
2 - it's a very poor PSU and I wouldn't buy it personally for a build like that. Where are you located? Can you link a store you're planning to buy from?
3 - depends on the screen you're using. If it's a 60Hz screen, ditch the overpriced 8600 and go AMD (Ryzen 1600, B350board, >2666MHz RAM). This will be a good deal cheaper and easily suffice for (almost?) as long as the i5 will and is upgradable (AMD supports it's sockets way longer than Intel, next Intel CPU will not be compatible with the LGA1151)
If you still need to save money and it's a 1080p Screen, Go for a GTX1060 or a Rx580 (or Vega 56 or what it is called)

1 - okay you can ignore my questions regarding coolers and power supplies - turns out that the case i am buying comes with a 3 120mm fans and a 650W Antec NE650M NeoEco 80Plus Bronze Modular power supply included in the price
2 im planing to pair the build with a 1440 monitor in the near future/ in the meantime im going with my old 1080 60HZ Samsung display

im from israel so my budget is including inflation and tax that comes with buying from here, that build is going to cost me around 1700 USD

1 - still not the best unit. "eco" is marketing for "trash". But will do. Wouldn't overclock much on this build though.

2 - well, then go the Ryzen route and keep the 1070 if you want to bring down costs. For a 60Hz screen Intel is unnecessarily expensive.

1- so that power supply would be fine if im not overclocking? what if i over clock my cpu to 4.3 GHz?
2- the ryzen 1600 3.6 GHz actually costs like 20 bucks more than the i5 8600

3- if im going with this build how long would you think the 8600k would be relevant before it starts being a bottleneck?

1 - there are many things that could go wrong. Or nothing.
2 - don't only look at CPU prices alone you have to take the motherboard into account as well. Z370 boards usually cost double of B350s.
3 - tough to say. As higher resolutions start to become mainstream popular CPU bottleneck becomes less of an issue. Could be 3 years could be 7 years. Thought to predict.

Thanks i will be taking this into consideration . my last quesion is would you say the stock intel cooler for the cpu is enough or should i get something better ? if it is the case then what is a good cpu cooler that is also budget friendly

There is no stock cooler for the i5. (Unlike with Ryzen)
You have to buy a cooler.

To cool your i5, I'd get a Cryorig H7/Scythe Kotetsu (Stock speeds), for mild overclocking a Cryorig H5/Scythe Mugen (Max) / Scythe FUMA / Nocuta U12S or U14S / Thermalright True Spirit or Grand Macho
