I’ve recently purchased a new 8th Gen i5 8400, and am a little concerned with the idle temp I’m getting... It’s sitting around 50 degrees, which seems high to me. I’m using a Corsiar H110i GTX cooler, which I used on my previous cpu (i7 4790) and was getting idle temps at around 28-30 degrees...
I’ve now reapplied the thermal paste twice thinking it might have been that, but no change. To worried to put it under load at this stage as I don’t want it to spike up! Any feedback or ideas!?!?
