i have an old ssd, it's a HyperX 3K 240gb 2.5' SATA III, and i was wondering if there is any way to convert it to a portable ssd using only a usb 3.0 to sata III adapter/cable.I am aware that there are some enclosures available online for purchase( for cheap) but i kinda' want to let it exposed since it looks better and it's slimmer this way.
Is it possible to power and connect at the same time the ssd to the computer using only one cable(usb 3.0/3.1/thunderbolt 3 to SATA III)?
