Hello and thanks for taking the time to read.

So i was thinking what gpu & cpu can i get if i had a 16 GB ram and a And a 2 Terabyte disk drive.

I would calculate the motherboard, case, power supply and coolers later but i just wanna know what gpu and cpu can i get from these.

Solution
For 720p, and $1,100 budget seems a bit overkill in all honesty.

For example, this setup would likely destroy all titles at 720p.

What's your intended use for this system? Strictly gaming? Gaming/Streaming? Gaming/Streaming/Editing? At the same time? What resolution? Lot's of factors at play here.

You can get a pretty nice setup for $1,100 - Let's say a motherboard is $100, 16GB RAM probably $150, 2TB HDD for $75. PSU for $50, Case for $50.
Of the $1,100 budget, you're still left with $675.

With that $675 left, you could have an 8core/16thread, powerhouse of a CPU + a 6GB 1060.

There's really no way of being able to answer your question without knowing what you want to do with the system in detail...

And even then, 16GB RAM and a 1050TI are not likely to be close to fully utilized.

AND, you could drop the R5 1600 in there

Which would give you a great foundation to move to higher resolutions if/when the time comes to upgrade the GPU.
A 1050TI is a 60FPS Med-High settings card (1080p)..... so a move to 1080p would be just fine.... beyond that (1440p, 4K), the rest of the system would hold up really well, would just need a new GPU.
