I recently got a new PC, but I've been experiencing a lot of crashes. I can't seem to figure out the exact cause. My system is as follows:

Ryzen 5 1600
Gigabyte GA-AB350
Zotac 1060 6GB mini
8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000MHz
beQuiet! 500W PSU
SSD + HDD

I've been playing a lot of PUBG and Fortnite recently, and both have the following in the crash log everytime. (I can post complete crash log if necesarry):

<ErrorMessage>LowLevelFatalError [File: D:\tsl\tsl-client-branch\build\UnrealEngine\Engine\Source\Runtime\Windows\D3D11RHI\Private\D3D11Util.cpp] [Line: 176] &nl;Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0006 - 'HUNG')&nl;</ErrorMessage>

I've also had my PC randomly crash a few times. Everytime it crashes only the visuals seem to freeze/crash. I can usually still hear people over discord or the music of the game.

Things I've already tried are:

  • Remove GPU driver with DDU and reinstall
Try a different GPU (same issue)
    Complete wipe and reinstall Windows
