SO I need help building a *GAMING* computer. As of right now my budget is 1200$. (is subject to change)
The part i already have is the cpu cooling. (CRYORIG H7) So i just need help on an *INTEL* build and for the computer to last at least 3-10 years. I am also willing to wait for new things (aka coffee lake if cheap enough) to restock or come out because i wont actually be building the rig until christmas. Thank you and please suggest builds and parts form computer.

P.S. A monitor is not included in the budget so don't suggest those. But actually look at these monitors and tell me if these are any good:

For a build to last 3 years are so, have a good platform. So the 8700k has that and you just need to worry about the gpu.

Later, you just need to upgrade GPU if you want 2k, 4k gaming in the future :) The two monitors are similar.

You wont need 12 threads of 8700k even in the foreseeable future for gaming, unless you are streaming. 6 fast cores are plenty for gaming. It is even good enough for streaming as well. You definitely need a 1070 for 144hz gaming. Between the two monitors, the AOC is 144hz but the Asus is 75hz. AOC is better buy specially for the build below.
The board comes with lots of connectivity options, overclocking potential and features like superior audio codec with headphone amps, bluetooth and wifi.

If that stretches your budget, get a 1060 6gb with a 60hz/75hz 1080p display. You can later upgrade to Nvidia Volta or AMD Navi with a quantum dot display in the future

If you plan to get a more beefier gpu down the line, get this instead https://pcpartpicker.com/product/JfBrxr/corsair-txm-gold-750w-80-gold-certified-semi-modular-atx-power-supply-cp-9020131-na
