Hi,
I recently built a new Ryzen 1700 based system. Initially I purchased RX 580 and EVGA 500B; but then got the components changed. I paid extra to change the GPU to Gigabyte GTX 1080 and he gave me only two options to change the PSU: EVGA 700B and Corsair CX 750M. He said, I can only change the PSU and he won’t return my money if I want to return EVGA 500B and get a new good PSU from some other retailer.

Therefore I got CX 750M.

The question is that will this PSU (Corsair CX750M) good enough for my build (Ryzen 1700 and Gigabyte GTX 1080)?
Or do I need to sell it to someone and look for better PSU?
Selling the PSU will be a headache. So I want to be sure before taking any action.

If it was me I wouldn't take the CXM 750 and hook it up to a $600 graphics card, it's really a budget unit.

But that's me.

You can do worse than a CXM 750, but you can also do better, I would tell the guy to stick it and never go there anymore etc.

If the CXM is a white label, as in white lettering it should be OK, if it's green don't get it.

the green were super cheap and are unreliable
the grey units are newer and much improved, though they are still entry model units. its better than the 500b though.
