Hi guys

Just after some advise. I have a gaming pc running amd fx8370 and R9 380 and it's working well. Getting between 50-60fps on PUBG with medium settings but getting drops as this game does. Thinking of changing to a gtx1060 6G.

My question is while I know this gpu is benchmarked much higher than my current card. Will I notice a big change and can my CPU handle this gpu??

My CPU sits only 40-45% now while my current gpu is always at 99% use.

Thanks

well then u should be satisfied with the GTX 1060 :) hope u enjoy ur new GPU later on :)
yes u will notice some difference, however, not worth it imo [technically a 1 tier leap here]

i would suggest u step up a bit and get a 1070 instead, the performance leap would be so much better :) [technically a 2 tier performance leap]

ur CPU can handle up to 1070 just fine imo (my friend had FX 8320 + GTX 1070 and he's satisfied with both of them)

Ok thanks. I'm really only after a more stable frame rate over 60 and maybe a bump in graphics to higher settings. Monitor is only a 60Hz 24" benq so I don't think I would see a difference in the 1070 for the extra price
