SSD, is my MOBO compatible?

Solution
the 850 is 2.5 inch. you should have two of them no tape needed.
SSD's come in three factors that I am aware of. m.2 (which supports SATA speed drive on m.2 and NVME class drive on M.2), SATA and PCIe

the ssd in the second pic is the same size as the 850 it will mount exactly like that secured from the bottom of the tray via the 4 screw holes in the second picture

yes will plug into either the purple port or the orange ports, the board has many. here it comes...
But that is a very very fast drive and the SATA ports on the motherboard will not allow its full speed. SATA 2 ports for SATA 3 drive.
its like owning a racecar (850), you are stuck with a speed limit (SATA 2) unless your on a racetrack (SATA 3). a racetrack would be a new motherboard.

Those SSDs use SATA connectors, just like your existing hard drive. It will connect just like your existing hard drive.

As for your case there is plenty of room. SSDs are smaller so if you want to mount it like your hard drive you need an adapter that probably came with the case to mount (or you can purchase them - 3.5 inch to 2.5 inch adapters). They don't actually need to be mounted though, they're very light and have no moving parts, so they can just "dangle", or you can tuck them into the bay without mounting.

Your real issue is that the motherboard uses SATA II (aka SATA 3gb/s), meaning even though the SSD drive is built for SATA III (6gb/s), it won't be as fast as it can be. Here's an article from this site discussing it that might help you decide if it's worth is: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/ssd-upgrade-sata-3gbps,3469.html

I just want to be sure if my case will allow for the mounting of the 850 on the HDD bays because i dont want them to put them in some awakrd place, and if i needed to i would like to buy that tape along with the SSD.

This is what the site says:

http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/cases/define-series/define-r4-black-pearl

"8 - 3.5" HDD trays - all compatible with SSDs, 2 - 2.5" extra SSD positions"

So im not sure what 850 is. Are all SSD disks 2.5"?

this is how the trays look like with SSD on (second pic):
