PC freezes and shuts down frequently

hey guys. I am having a problem with my PC recently. When i am using my computer its freezes and after 5 secs my fan makes a loud weird noise and after a while its crashes. It use to happen once or twice in a week but now its frequent. I have cleaned my CPU but still it happens.
I dont have much idea about computers. So, can you help me out?

Hmm. Could you give more specs about your computer? Like what type of cpu it is, or what type of cooler it is? It could be a heat issue, which could be caused by you taking off the cooler from the cpu and not applying thermal paste again when you reattached it.
