I have a windows 10 OS on my computer with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 and the device status says it has stopped working with the error code 43. I have attempted everything i have seen online including updating drivers to updating my BIOS but i still havent been able to fix it. In the device manager it shows next to the display adapter a small yellow warning icon on the Nvidia icon. plz help i can run games well without my GPU :(

Solution
Code 43 happens either if drivers fail or if hardware fails. Since you tried updating drivers with no result, the only other option is that your GPU or motherboard slot failed. If your motherboard has more then one PCIe x16 slot, you can move GPU to another slot to rule out motherboard failure. Or you should test GPU in another machine to confirm that problem lies in the card.

Try going to back to an earlier build of Windows 10. This worked for a friend of mine.
