Hello community!
I'm using i7-2600k with Asrock Z77 Extreme-4m, ( Corsair H110 )
Trying to overclock my cpu( first timer ) tried every tutorial, everything.
When I set my multiplier for example x40, everything is okay boots up, cpu-z shows that is normal etc.
Running any sort of test ( prime95, intelburntest, etc. ) Cause my cpu multiplier to jump to stock.
Aswell as the voltages ( I tried bumping them up, and with turbo voltages etc. )
I disabled C features, speedstep well I tried everything even Intel features.
So my question is this normal???

PSU: Corsair CX750M
RAM: DDR3 Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz CL9 1.5V

On idle the multiplier stays the same I setted. So it is constant.
And doing a little benchmark that loads the cpu to 80% would not result in downgrading to stock multiplier.
But when the load is 100% it would jump from my multiplier to stock.
