After the upgrade which was just the cpu, motherboard and RAM change, I keep running into the blue screen with the code:' Stop: 0.0000007B'. And it would just restart back starting from the BIOS. I went into BIOS and tried setting boot priority from my main C drive to no avail. I already have Windows 7 home premium 64bit installed on my C drive. Could this be a lockout since the new Ryzen don't support windows 7 anymore? I couldn't even run the Windows 7 repair tool, it would just freeze. Has anyone else run into this before?

Also one thing to note. On my old motherboard, I had boot option set to IDE and it was booting fine. However the new motherboard has only AHCI and RAID setting. I remember on the old motherboard the AHCI setting actually caused my pc to crash on start everytime hence why I changed it to IDE and had it on IDE before the whole component upgrade.

Solution
To me it sounds like your upgrade was too radical to support the old windows installation and you need to reinstall windows from scratch.

Thank you! I actually had to install windows 10 on boot. The new ryzen processors don't support anything under Windows 10 apparently. I can't stand 10 but I have to get used to it.
