Okay so every 5 min or so I hear a short buzzing sound coming from my pc that last for 30 seconds or so. Pretty sure it is coming from my motherboard although it may not be (Actually may be coming from my PSU). Built my pc back in Feb. and this is the second day its been doing the humming thing.
Its kind of freaking me out not sure what to do though.

This is my hardware.
Gigabyte GA-Z270XP-SLI motherboard. Intel i5 7600k processor with an aftermarket cooler, the Cryorig H7. gtx 1060 Windforce graphics card. EVGA superNOVA 650 G1 power supply. Also a seagate hdd and a samsung evo ssd.

Without hearing the noise, it's a little tough to identify; but a hum/buzz coming from the PSU could indicate:
1. a loosely mounted PSU (and vibrating on some aspect of the case),
2. Power saving features (in the BIOS) enabled - not 100% sure why but some have been known to generate "buzzing"
3. Failing/defective/loose PSU Fan
4. Other hardware/component issues inside the PSU - capacitors etc.

Is your PSU under warranty? If it was new in Feb, it certainly should be. Outside of points 1&2 which are easy to check, I'd look to RMA the unit.

The G1 aren't the best PSUs in the world, but should be more than capable for that setup - no manufacturer's QC process is perfect though, so a defective unit making it out into the market isn't...

Humming is not likely to be coming from your motherboard - more likely to be the PSU, HDD or GPU.

Can you identify what's happening on your system when you hear the hum? If you're loading from the HDD, it's a more likely culprit.
If you're ramping up the GPU, then PSU or GPU are possibilities...

So I am just doing some light browsing and doing school work in Chrome. I just took the HDD out to make sure that wasn't it and it is still making the noise.
I know for a fact now that it is coming from inside my PSU because when I take my side panel off I can hear it clearly.
Should I be worried? Maybe try a stress test and see what happens?
