Hi, i am currently at uni and in my accomodation block the wireless internet is shite, the connection keeps dropping out and the speed is slow. I have an ethernet port in my room, would i be able to connect a router up to the ethernet port to give a stable connection?? Or would plugging in a router just do nothing?? Any help would be great, thanks

Ok thank you, but providing i am allowed to do this, will hooking a wireless router up to ethernet work or does a router need to be connected directly to a dsl??
