So if I'm going to build a PC for the first time (gaming one) should I just go with the 1050 ti and upgrade to the 1060 in a couple months? Just to make sure everything works fine??

GTX 1070 seems like a lot for me. I'll mostly be playing a lot during summer but during the days I might do about 3 hours. I don't think I would have to go that heavy, but I'll see how much I enjoy PC gaming.

unless you have a buyer in store for the 1050 it would be a waste of money. IMHO.
What are your specs/projected specs? if the system is balanced properly from the get go, your done.
is monitor 1080 @ 60hz? will it stay the same?
