I'm building a new system and looked around on here to get some ideas and looked at comparisons and think this is good but I'm not as knowledgeable as many on here and would like some advise, please. I do games like Wot, GTA, Spintires and work in 3ds Max a lot. I have an older quadcore from 2008 and am in need of something better. I'm not doing vr or 4k.

Is there anything I could change or need to change, please? I'm reusing my Dell 24" and 19" monitors and the drives I have already. They're just in to check. Please help. I don't know enuf to know for sure. If need more info, please let me know. I'm also using Win7Ultimate. Would Win10 be better?

Are those monitors 1080p or 1440p? Mostly good build, can save some on MB, memory (For Intel, ram speed is not crucial), case can be better, psu can have other choices, you really like the mouse? Too expensive...

Monitors are only 1080p. Thank you for the money saving. It will help. Yes, wasn't sure about the case. Can I add more than 2 HD's in this case? The mouse IDK. I bought a Deathadder and middle mouse button messed up. I need a reliable mouse that will last more than a year.

Thank you so much Vapor. I'm looking to buy asap.

Also, how many HD's can I hook to this?

Oh yeah, I like Asus mobo tho.

Again, thank you so much vapour for the help.

One final question tho. Will I need to order any separate cables or anything? Or how about the paste for between the chip and fan?

No you're good for cables & paste mate (comes with the cooler)

The only slight issues I'd consider are upping that cooler to the bigger h5 universal because that 8700k is hard to keel cool

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/jK8H99/cryorig-cpu-cooler-h5universal

& honestly the WD black 2tb is way way overpriced IMO
Granted you get a 5 year warranty but speed wise its honestly not that much faster than a cheaper model for a secondary drive.

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/QFGj4D/toshiba-internal-hard-drive-hdwd130xzsta

You can get a 3tb tosh p300 for half the price.
