Hey
So yesterday I was using my PC normally, nothing strange was going on. Did shut it down for the night and next morning when I was booting it I immediately realized that the fans were louder than usual, so I checked the temps with CPUID HWMonitor and saw all Cores at 97-100°C. In the TaskManager the CPU usage was only around 1-3% (idle).
I am using this exact Setup (no Hardware changes) since around april, so I was wondering what happend that it is running so hot all of a sudden.
One thing that might be of value, last night when I turned it off I installed some windows updates.

Looked into the BIOS:
CPU temp 99-100°C
CPU FAN: Fan Speed 0 RPM (might be the pump?)
CPU OPT: Fan Speed 0 RPM (nothing pluged into that slot)
System FAN 3 Pump: Fan Speed around 1000 RPM

System FAN 1 and 2: report normal temps and work fine

What have I done so far:
Cleaned all the dust (compressed air)
Reset the System to before the Windows Updates
Checked all the Fans - all spin

CPU: Intel i7 7700k
Cooler: CORSAIR Cooling Hydro Series H100i V2
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z270XP-SLI
OS: Windows 10

Any help would be welcome
Thanks
Regards

I handed in the cooler and got it replaced, now it works fine, must have been the pump
