So when I am playing games like ow, csgo, pubg my display driver crashes and my monitors go black until I restart my pc and it keeps on happenning all the time now. I tried switching my gpu pci exp slot, but that didn't help as well. My cpu has been running on 100C for like 6months and I know that temp. is not normal, but I was like meh, but I don't think it's from it either because it's been working like that for a while now. Still I got some new thermal paste and applied it, but it still goes to 97C if I start rendering something on vegas, so I will buy a new cpu cooler. That being said I don't think it's my cpu causing the crash. So what do you think it is ? GPU or maybe PSU(it's kinda old 7years I think) idk. Help me, because I can't play anything since it crashes all the time. And one more think even tho I don't know if that is related or not, but it always crashes when I play ow competitive or csgo comp. When I play the normal deathmatch game modes on both games and never crashed. And it crashed a couple of times when I am playing pubg. That's all.

PC specs: corsair tx 650w, nvidia evga 780ti sc, intel i7 4790, 16gb kingston hyper x 1600mhz, gigabyte z87 d3hp

Cause/Steps to recreate the issue:

Playing games. CSGO, PUBG, Overwatch - on this game it always does it. Hearthstone - doesn't crash/works fine. If I don't play games it's fine.
What I've tried so far to resolve the issue:

I tried switching my gpu pci exp slot, but that didn't help. I bought a new psu(corsair rm 750x), so it's not the psu either. Also got a cooler for my cpu and now it goes to 75C when I play games, so the temp. is normal.

I forgot to say that since 2days ago it's worse then before, so it crashes on pubg after 5-10mins of playtime. For the span of 2hours in crashed 8 times.... I hate pc problems help

If you say CPU temps hit 97-100c, I say that is your likely culprit. What kind of cooler do you have and how old is it? Those temps are off the charts for gaming. Some would say there is something wrong if you reach such temps during a long stress test, let alone gaming.
