Buying a prebuild gaming rig (yeah, sue me), is the CPU/GPU combo solid enough?

Hi guys,

I soon want to buy a gaming rig (replacing my old 970-system). I've located this:

NZXT S340 - Black
Intel Core i5-7500 Kaby Lake OR i5 8400 (if the store doesn't bitch - in which case I might need to find another rig I guess)
ASUS PRIME H110M-P
MSI GTX 1080 AERO 8G OC
G.Skill Ripjaws V 2x8GB 2133 MHz
Corsair RM750i Gold
Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB
Alpenföhn Sella

My only real concern is the CPU / GPU combination. I want to do 1440P games, preferably on ultra. What could I expect in that department?

PS: The local prize for that system (including Windows) is 1600 EUR, since you know: I'm buying it in Denmark :)

Shit, that's true. Let me ask the store, why should they not be able to change that?

Yeah, just realized that. i5 8400 it is (if the store allows that modification). Seems like a required change.

It will require a more expensive motherboard, the cheaper ranges that support 8th Gen are not out yet.

Darn it, forgot the MB also (ASUS PRIME H110M-P). Sigh.
