Hello all.

So as a newbie I made my first setup. After setting it all up, I checked my bios and it registrated everything in my setup. Upon starting, after the loading balls of windows appear, right after it I get a BSoD.
My friend told me this is because the w7 on my HDD was installed on intel, and my current motherboard is from msi.

If this is true, what is the best way to get my HDD working and succesfully booting?

PS: I have no SSD. I need w10 for my mobo, but was thinking about getting w7 and then free upgrade to w10.

Any help of ideas would be highly appreciated!

you have a few options. if you have a good windows 7 oem code call ms and get a free windows 10 oem code. also from another pc download window 10 iso and make a new bootable usb stick. plug it in and upgrade windows 7 to 10. boot into safe mode and remove all of the mb system devices. reboot and then see if you can install the new mb chipset drivers. the best way is to get the new key and then do a clean install of windows 10.
