So the problem is that my PC will not start at all if the SATA cable is connected. However when I disconnect it, my pc turns on. So my question is, what is the problem here? Is it the PSU or my HDD? Thanks for your time and help in advance.

Specs:
CPU: AMD FX 8350
RAM: 8gb
GPU: NVDIA GTX 960
MOBO: gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3
HDD: Western DIgital 1tb
PSU: EVGA 600W BQ

Dam I just noticed and there are some burn marks on the connector for the HDD. I have warranty fortunately. So should it work it if I replace it?

Unfortunately me replacing the HDD did not solve my problem. However, I know that my HDD works because I tested with a friend. Therefore, is my problem coming from my PSU or MOBO?
