When i open the boot menu while installing Ubuntu,the laptop does not read the pendrive.
But laptop read the pendrive in Windows .
Laptop is hp au620tx
8 gb ram 1 tb hd.

On most computers, before booting to OS, you're given a couple of choices. One is to enter bios settings and the other one let you choose which storage unit to boot from. The keys to activate the choices is different from different brands.

The other thing - Do a CRC check (usually sha 256) on your Linux iso file to verify it's downloaded correctly.
