Hello there,

So 2 days ago i got my new ZOTAC NVidia GeForce GT-710 2GB GDDR5 Zone Edition & when its idle it runs at 50°C

Right now i am posting this question using Firefox, the gpu is at 48°C right now.
Is this temperature normal for a new GPU?

Thank you in advance.

Solution
Yes, that temperature is normal for that graphics card. Note that the GPU you have is a passive one, i.e. it doesn't have a fan blowing air on it. It relies on natural convection to dissipate heat. So it is normal that its temp is slightly high even when idle. But 50C is perfectly fine. A GPU can go up to around 90C (depends on the exact model) without any issues.

Thank you so much
But i have one question remaining that GPU equipped with fan is better or the one which i have (passive)?

The one you have is OK, because it's a relatively weak GPU, and it won't heat so much. It's sold with just a passive heatsink because it will work like that just fine. For more powerful GPUs, passive cooling is no longer viable and fans (1, 2 or even 3 fans) are needed. If your question is "Is a GT-710 with fans better than the one i have?", the answer is no, they will perform the same.
