Just bought a Corsair H100i v2, and installed it today. I turned on my pc and everything started. The fans on the AiO started spinning, i could feel the liquid floating in the sleeves and the LED turned on. However, when i downloaded Corsair Link 4 it would not detect my cooler. One of the cables are plugged into the AiO_Pump header on my Asus Z270E motherboard. I dont think i have plugged the 10 pin connector in the right place though.

Solution

That's weird. Have you tried reinstalling Corsair link? (probably best if you could re-download it, just in case previous one got corrupted somehow)

If that still didn't work, I'd try uninstalling corsair link again, uninstall it from device manager then restart PC then try installing Corsair link again. And if that still doesn't work, yeah probably best to contact corsair support and see if they can help you.

I have connected the cable that is supposed to be connected to a USB header on the motherboard to somethink i think is a USB header. I put it in the one that says USB1112 on the picture in the link.

okay do one thing
while the system running open the corsair link and its not showing the h100 right now
from the board unplug the usb header and plug it in again and see if its getting detected in PC or not if still not you can go to device manager and refresh it search for new hardware and then check

if still not then i dont know what to more suggest unless the hardware fault or cables are not properly connected

its detecting it but drivers are not installing on your system i think you should contact the corsair customer support

Have you tried looking inside device manager? It should look something like this. If there isnt any, and it shows unknown device or something, you could try uninstalling the device and then click on "scan for hardware changes".

I did that and it showed up at the same place as in the image (your link), then i uninstalled it and then i scanned for hardware changes. It then showed up under "Other Devices" as H100i v2. It says it does not have the drivers it needs. Cant seem to find them online either..?

Contacted Customer Service and they said i should try using a older version of Corsair LINK (4.7.0.77). And fuck yes, it worked. They said that the next version of LINK will probably have the problem fixed.
