Hi guys, so basically i have an ASUS which had a windows 10 OS but now it's just windows 7 since the hard drive got replaced, the IT just had the copy of windows 7 for installing the OS. I couldnt find any way on disabling the touchpad, i already tried to search on the control panel settings yet i found none, could you suggest a 3rd party software that disables touchpad but does not disable the use of mouse. I really tried all the steps on control panel but some settings are just not present. Thanks in advance

As long as you have the touchpad driver installed, for example for HP it is the Synaptics mouse driver, if you type in "mouse" into the Windows 7 search bar, it should bring up "mouse". Go ahead and click on it. On the far right tab it should have the synaptics logo on it, and it should give you the option to enable\disable parts of your laptop's touchpad.
