100% Usage i5 4670k

I am having an issue where my cpu usage jumps to 90-100% leading my game to lag which as become quite annoying. I have consulted google many times in attempt to solve this issue but it was all to no avail. So here I am, asking the PC experts to diagnose my poor PC please and thank you.

Specs:
Intel Core i5 4670k
16 gb RAM DDR3 1300MHz
MSI Z97 GAMING 7
Radeon RX 480 8GB
350GB Seagate HD
1TB Seagate HD
500GB Samsung SSD 850 EVO
750W Corsair PSU

I have my CPU overclocked from 3.40GHz to 4.4GHz at 1.2213 v as well. All of my temperatures have been fine across all systems so I am not sure what is causing this issue. Temperature of CPU being at highest 60C and GPU at highest 60C

I run BF1 at high to ultra settings 45-60 fps
Witcher 3 at medium to ultra at 50-60 fps
Ghost Recon Wildlands high 40-60
1920 x 1080 for all.

My frames really only drop when I notice my CPU usage spike to 100% and turn red on task manager.

Ghost Recon ranged from 80-95 CPU ussage, BF1 85-100% and even Borderlands 2 gave me 70-90% CPU usage.

Yeah it makes sense games are starting to use more than 4 cores

specially when playing BF4 multiplayer 64p map
