Gainward Dual 1060 6Gb, silent bios?

Solution
I don't know man. I can only go off what Gainward says on their website, and that is that all those cards have zero fan capability. I guess only they can tell you what the real deal is. Where did you buy the card? Maybe asking the vendor what's up is a good place to start.
When it comes to hardware, don't ever pay attention to what you see on Youtube. If there is a specific feature or additional support software available for a component it will generally either be available on the manufacturers website or it will be referenced by one of the legitimate review sites. Half of what is on Youtube is pure BS and the only reason those kinds of videos don't get struck down is because of free speech laws.

Is your card a Phoenix or Phoenix GS model? If not I would not recommend attempting to flash one of those bios to your card. You are likely to brick your device. What is your exact model number?

Then I wouldn't use the bios for any other card unless you've read a solid, dependable verification from a trustworthy review site or known reputable forum member that it absolutely is compatible. Different cards use different hardware, especially if they have different firmware manufacturers, and using one firmware on another card will pretty much always result in bricking your unit.

Again I'll ask, what is the specific model number of your card?

According to the Gainward website:

Zero RPM fan design is supported for all Gainward GTX 1060 6GB series. Zero RPM fan feature will keep the fans stop under low GPU loading operation, and start to work whenever the GPU temperature raising up. Users will enjoy totally quiet gaming environment with the feature of Zero RPM fan. DrMOS also is used that provides higher power efficiency than normal MOSFET design.

So your GPU card cooling fans should not be running at 25% even with the current, or any version of the BIOS for that card, unless something is wrong as in you do not have sufficient case cooling to supply fresh air into the case and expel heat, so even at idle the card is too hot, or something is not configured correctly.

Make sure you have the latest driver installed after running the DDU to wipe the old drivers, and then make sure you also have Gainward's ExperTool installed as it seems that is what must be used to make adjustments to your card settings. If you've already tried all that and there is still a problem then I'd suggest you contact Gainward and explain to them that you cannot achieve Zero fan with your card while at idle. Perhaps there is a fault with the card itself.

i wrote to gainward, however i saw in various forum people that claim no zero rpm fan feauture in this card
very strange, i will keep you informed :)

If they tell you that there is no zero RPM capability in this card, I'd ask them for a full refund based on the statement I posted above indicating ALL their 1060 6gb cards have it. Now, if you actually have a 3gb card, then it's possible that's why you, or these other folks, don't have that.
