Hello everyone,

Wondering if anyone can help me on here, searched the internet, but have yet to find anything.

Recently I upgraded to a GTX 1060 6GB, but though to keep my 2x GTX 770's (not in SLi) to continue running. So how the setup works now is i've got 3 screens. Main on the GTX 1060 (144hz monitor) and the other two on the two separate GTX 770's (use 3 for work).

Now I've realized that my performance is rather lackluster. I don't necessarily care about the two side monitors, but on the main, for instance in CS:GO I get hectic frame drops, etc.

My setup: I7 4930k OC'd to 4.2GHz
PSU: 1000W Corsair
1x GTX 1060 MSI Gaming X 6Gb card
2x GTX 770 OC editions, also MSI
Got a SSD running my apps and windows.
RAM: 16Gb 1600 Mhz DDR 3

If there is anything more that could help solve the problem, then please let me know, I am getting a bit annoyed right now. I've been wondering that maybe the power draw of the 3 cards might be too much for the system to handle?

Solution
well the rules of thumb is you only put video cards of the same make and model in a computer even when not Sli, its a question of drivers and bus speeds, maybe someone else will chime in put as far as I know putting 2 770 and 1 1060 on a computer is bound to have issues.

So I ran a few tests, however I just ended up using wallpaper as an indication. When I only have my 1060 in with the main monitor plugged in, video running of wallpaper engine everything would be smooth (dragging the windows around, etc), but as soon as I put one of the 770's in, the windows would become laggy, etc.

This does not make sense, hopefully you can make something of it
