I recently had a Virus issue with my Laptop. I believe it may have been an issue with the "TrustedInstaller" Virus. I was unable to resolve the issue and finally did a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate on my Laptop.

I use a SIIG Cool Dual SATA to USB 2.0 Docking unit ( Model SC-SA0412-S1) to allow me greater storage. When I turn on the unit a driver DOES load and the unit gives the audible notice of driver installation. I also receive the Visual notice but the diver named appears to be corrupt and no additional HDD show up in the system.

I then did a low level reformat of the entire HDD and reinstalled the Os... loaded new laptop specific drivers for my Laptop....after scanning each file with an Antivirus program.... and the issue remains the same... corrupt driver tag... no additional HDD in system. I did take this unit cables same HDD to my Desktop and they loaded properly.

Ideas?
