I overclocked my i5 4690k cpu to 4.6ghz 1.276 volts. I'm using a asus maximus vii hero motherboard. and a corsair h100i v2 cpu cooler. temps are staying around 27c idle and around 47 under load. should I overclock more??

Solution

That's really good either way. If you can stay under 80C with the most demanding stress testers like prime95 or intel burn in test, then your fine.

Idk if you need 1.32v, who knows, that's how CPU overclocking works.

ya very good cpu. I'm surprised with how low my temps are. do you think ill need 1.32v to get to 4.7ghz? and actually just ran a stress test with intel extreme tuning utility the highest I saw my temps get up to was 55c under a heavy load.
