Some old boards' BIOSs have trouble with modern cards, but I think yours will be fine. My last AM2/AM2+ board (Biostar) ran both my 1050 Ti and 1060 3GB fine. Only had trouble recognizing one card; an AMD R7-370.
I was thinking to replace everything but the motherboard, and I noticed that DDR4 doesnt fit into a DDR2 slots. Any recommendations on what I should do?
That will depend on your budget, for one thing. And your interests. If for gaming at 1080p/60Hz and above, definitely move to a better system. The ancient motherboard and it's platform is in severe need of retiring. What's your budget and are you located in the US?
