sorry if i sound like a noob but i have a few questions to ask you :D.

1) if i fiddled about with amd overdrive too much could that be a reason why my computer crashes?

2) how do i reset amd overdrive to have the original settings as i think a while back i didn't know what i was doing. for example i turned my voltage right up, turned my multiplier right up and now i want to reset it as i think this may be why my computer has been having problems.

3) Also what would be good settings to have everything on for a athlon x4 880k?

any help is appreciated and would go along way
thanks in advance!
Connor

If you click the red "dot" in the upper right corner of AMD Overdrive so it goes back to being a green dot, then the overclock settings you applied will be disregarded, and everything should go back to stock settings. Then look for the setting in Overdrive to apply the last settings the next time the computer is restarted. That should prevent the overclock settings from being applied.

Or you can do as suggested above. You can probably find the motherboard manual online if need be, but the clear cmos pins should be clearly marked as "CLR_CMOS" or similar. Unplug the computer, and touch the two pins with a metal screwdriver "for a few seconds", that is what my motherboard manual (Gigabyte) says to do.
