I need help I want to buy a pre built gaming computer that is under 1000 I mainly want it for gaming. The games I will play are csgo, h1z1 Kotk, pubg and war thunder. I was looking at ironside series grunt ultra. I would want it to run smooth on 1080p.

Solution
Yes those would be great. They do want a bit much for the upgrade to the i5-7400 (+$155). Too bad they don't have the new 8th-gen Intel CPUs. The new i3 is a quad-core, and the new i5 is a six-core. You could build one for about the same price and get the better Z370 motherboard and a GTX 1060 6GB all for under $1000. Even with an i3-8100 it would be as fast or faster than an i5-7400.

I recommend building your own to get the best value and components. But if you were going to buy that PC I would recommend upgrading the CPU to either the Pentium G4560 or an i5. The Pentium G4400 does not have hyper-threading while the G4560 does.

Their price isn't terrible unless you opt for the i5. I just put together a build list of the same or similar parts and it's about $50 cheaper if you built your own. I could even go lower if I went with the cheap power supply they're using and a cheaper case and even a cheaper GPU. You could go with a better CPU like a Ryzen 5 though and be better off for a little more money.

Hey yeah that’s the one I was looking at.
I was also thinking to upgrade the cpu to i5 7400 but i don’t know if the 15 dollars extra for the i5 7500 worth it
And I also I wanted to get the b250 motherboard
I know I can get it cheaper but it’s better for me because of the warranty and because I save on the keyboard and mouse combo.

I would rather have a Ryzen system rather than a 7th-gen Intel i5 system. So yes I like this one.

As to what to upgrade on it, it's difficult to say because they don't have a 2x4GB 3000MHz RAM option. THat would be the most ideal for cost/performance. I'm unsure whether the 2x4GB 2133MHz in dual-channel would be any better than 1x8GB 3000MHz in single-channel.

Things I would consider upgrading on that system:

RX 570 4GB
RX 580 8GB
GTX 1060 6GB (or even 3GB 1060 would be better than 1050 Ti)
B350 motherboard
3000MHz RAM, but dual-channel could be as important as speed. ??
CPU is fine w/ Ryzen 5 1400.

Hey so how well do you think the pc will run the games.
Also is the amd ryzen 5 1500x worth the extra 25 dollars or not just wanna to make sure because i will probably not upgrade the pc till I’m out of high school. I’m in 10 grade btw
Also is the 1060 3gb gaming better then the 1060 3gb or what’s the difference. Thx for your help I appreciate it.

The 1500X is only better if you don't plan to overclock. The 1400 can be just as fast if you do plan to overclock. So that's up to you. There is the aspect of the 1500X possibly being a higher binned chip (meaning it passed a higher frequency test at the factory than the non X model), and it could possibly be more stable at a higher overclock frequency. At most it is usually 100MHz difference.

As for the GTX 1060 3GB vs the Gaming, that's difficult to say; because they've got a picture of a Founder's Edition GTX 1060 for the 3GB model, but the 3GB model doesn't come in a Founder's Edition. I would suspect they'd use the cheapest model they can, probably the Zotac Mini.

On the other hand, the "Gaming" model they have shown isn't much different than the cheapest Zotac Mini. They both have less than premium cooling, so they will run hotter than other models with dual fans or large heatsinks.

You could alleviate that by adding an extra case fan or two. I would probably choose the Corsair fans. It doesn't specify how many fans come with the case if you don't select any additional fans.

Don't get 2x GTX if they don't support SLI. Don't get 2x GPUs anyways because a single faster GPU is usually better for less money.

I like the idea of the 8th-gen Intel system best. If it were me I would try to fit an i5-8400 in the system along with at least a GTX 1060 and the free upgrade to 3000MHz 2x4GB RAM on that CyberPowerPC. Also get at least the Corsair CX450 power supply and possibly an SSD. Air cooling is more reliable than liquid cooling.
