Hello,

I am currently using this adapter on my Windows 10 for my gaming

Black PC Wireless Controller Gaming USB Receiver Adapter For PC XBOX 360

When I am playing games and using my monitor, it works without issue. But, when I am using HDMI and playing the games on my TV, the controllers disconnect every couple of minutes. We've verified it isn't a distance issue (we have sat on the floor by the adapter and still has the issue) and have tested it on multiple controllers.

I can't fathom that using an HDMI connection would somehow mess up the driver or the adapter, but it seems like the case. Any recommendations? Thanks!!

Edit: Had the incorrect link to the adapter

Solution
It's possible the HDMI is emitting EMI which is interfering with your signal. Ferrites cores might help. They are inexpensive and are easy to install on your cable. I would recommend 9mm diameter ferrites.

I can do some digging, but in my experience with this adapter isn't doesn't appear to be a way to edit/configure it

So with these ferrite cores, do you recommend just 1 at each end?

One at each end is ideal

So I put ferrites cores on either end and............. it works! You are amazing! I appreciate your answer/time!

Thanks again!
