Hi,
I recently upgraded my internet plan from 50 to 100 mbps. When i run the speed test on WIFI i do not get more than 35mbps, and when i run the speedtest after directly connecting with LAN, i get about 50 mbps.
According to my Internet service provider there is some setting i need to upgrade on my TP link router to get speed upto 100 mbps, my question is, is there some setting i need to change? or is my service provider full of it?

Thanks and regards

Wireless is typically a lot slower than the marketed speeds, but it depends on several factors. There are several potential optimizations that can help in the right situation.

You should be getting 100Mbps with a wired connection since you upgraded your plan to that speed. What model modem are you using?

What model TP-Link router, and which radio band do you use 2.4GHz or 5GHz? Wireless N or AC?
How far is your computer from the router?
