I want to build a computer for about 1200-1300 Euro(monitor and peripherals not included) which I'll use for 1080p gaming and video editing, maybe sometimes running virtual machines.
This is my first time finding parts for and building a computer. So far I've 'built' this beast:
CPU: AMD Ryzen R7 1700 with Wraith Spire cooler included - 312.99 Euro
GPU: EVGA GTX 1060 6 GB SuperClocked Gaming - 299.46 Euro
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 2x8 3000MHz - 164.73 Euro
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B350-F Gaming - 116.85 Euro
Storage: Samsung 850 Evo 250GB SATA III SSD - 93.50 Euro;
WD Caviar Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD - 45.98 Euro
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA P2 650W Full Modular - 123.70 Euro
Case: NZXT S340 Elite - 85.49 Euro
(prices shown are from the e-shops in Lithuania)
What do you guys think? Maybe I can pick some cheaper parts for a better GPU or CPU?
I'm open for suggestions.
P.S I'm leaning towards Ryzen because I think it's a better value than Intel and additional cores and threads compared to 8700K will help me later.
