So i did have a i7 7700k but water block leaked and killed cpu and mobo. I didn't have a lot of money to replace it so I bought a Ryzen 1600 and a b350 mobo, I know ryzen love fast Ram but after looking at the price of ram now new ram is a no no.

But can my 2133mhz ram be overclocked to 3000ish or a little less I know ddr4 can run at a max of 1.35 max to be safe.

Probably not. Especially on a Ryzen system. Ryzen is still picky about what memory will run at what speeds. DDR4 2133 is as low end as DDR4 gets and is very unlikely to be made with higher end DRAM modules that will overclock.

See if you can find the part number on this list:

If it's there then you can see the expected speed on a Ryzen system with the latest BIOS.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from JordanRbaker : "Safe DDR4 Voltage on ryzen"

So what's the max voltage ryzen can handle for ddr4 ram I know intel xmp can actually go up to 1.5v but from what I've head 1.4v is generally safe is this true ?
