Hey gang, I'm looking for some information about repeating BSOD. It use to be a once in a while problem but now it's just about every time I turn on the computer.
I've replaced or reinstalled the hard drive, Windows 10 and the graphics card so I know it's not those causing the problem. So I'm guessing it's some other hardware issue; motherboard, the RAM, the power button, etc.
It's an older Dell computer my nephew uses to play his games and once the computer gets on, it plays just fine and doesn't blue screen. It's just getting the some bitch to turn on, which usually involves turning it on and off a dozen times until it boots up. And yes I've gone through the whole system repair and restore points but it doesn't do any good. I really don't want to take it do Geek Squad and pay a fortune for nothing, or so I've heard.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated so I don't throw the computer through the window.
