Hello,

I'm really new to all of this and please bear with me. I recently dug out an old Dell XPS 9000 from the basement. I realized after some research that it stopped working because the GPU overheated.

I was hoping someone can help me with a new GPU card, preferably something that's much better than the Nvidia GeForce GTS 240 but will run on the XPS 9000 motherboard.

Listed below are the dimensions:

Motherboard: Dell XPS 9000
CPU: Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67GHz
RAM: 12Gb (2 GB 2Rx8 PC3 8500U 7-10-B0 1333 MHz DDR3)
PSU: 450W

I want to upgrade from Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 and I'm hoping the new GPU will be suitable.

Thanks
