The motherboard in my build has 2 ethernet connections plus build in wifi (Intel® 802.11ac WiFi + BT 4.2). I change out 32GB for 16 and added windows.

For the coffee lake your going to need one of the best water coolers to get 5Ghz. A good set of 32GB RAM just fill the 2 DIMM completely so down the road your not looking at 48GB's instead of 64GB's. A large case with room for the coolers 280mm in front or top. A 3 fan low noise 1080ti and enough power to go SLI down the road.

You dont need internet card or anything. All motherboard comes along with NIC features embeded. The board listed in my post also comes with lots of connectivity options, overclocking potential and features like superior audio codec with headphone amps, bluetooth and wifi capability.
