GTX 1070 poor performance.

I am gettings less than 60 fps in gta v (on high settings) and less than 50 on PUBG (on lowest settings) also I am getting frame lag, skipping, whatever you want to call it on all my games.
can someone help me?

your cpu is bottlenecking you. the fx is not the best single core cpu (I know I am on one) you could get a few more fps by overclocking but your already at the themail limits so your cooling is not the best for oc.

best is just save up for a new cpu/motherboard/ram

I've seen many videos with the combination of the two, and my performance still shouldnt be this bad.

I bet your motherboard is throttling your cpu while gaming, if you monitor your cpu speed I bet it drops when gaming. That motherboard is known to have problems with 125w CPU's.

note hes only getting just over 60 on an oc cpu. are you oc to 5ghz on yours? i have my oc to 4.8 and it requires liquided cooling to do so.
