Gday
So I have 2 new seagate 3tb drives. one I have previously formatted and gives me full capacity of the 3tb drive, the other is showing 746gb. I cannot for the life of me remember what I did with the full cap drive.

I mix and match the drive cables to different ports, makes no diff.

I have read and tried all the usual MBR & GPT stuff, drivers, bios changes, but the fact remains that I have 1 drive that works and another that does not.

So much lah dee dah blah blah half assed crap on this topic its not even funny. "the fix is simple" well not in any descriptions I have seen. Hopefully someone senior with tons of knowledge can help me with this frustrating problem. lol

Thanks

Hi please see below, thanks for your help. As you can see disc 2 (the offender) is sitting at 746gb, the same size when unallocated. Yet the 3tb drive above it is an identical drive, they were both purchased together - it was formated ages ago and I cannot for the life of me remember what I did lol
